The coaxial water condenser operates by exploiting the principle of heat exchange between two fluids flowing in a coaxial tube, with flows in opposite directions. This tube consists of two concentric conduits: an inner and an outer. The fluid to be cooled (e.g., the gaseous refrigerant of a refrigeration system) flows in the inner tube, while water, which acts as a coolant, flows in the annular space between the two tubes. During condensation, heat is transferred from the refrigerant to the water, causing the refrigerant to condense from a gaseous to a liquid state.
