Heat-reflective panels: what they are and how they work
Heat-reflective panels are surfaces whose precise task is to reflect the heat that reaches them. They are sheets in polyethylene covered with aluminum which, when placed behind the radiator, in the space between the brackets , prevent the hot air from coming into contact with the cold outer wall and dissipating. Instead, they reflect it towards the internal environment.
It is possible to maximize the efficiency of your heating system, of radiators, thanks to these thin and heat-resistant, fireproof, non-toxic panels.
The efficiency of radiators improves by approximately 10%, optimizing the energy efficiency of the entire building and not just the individual apartment. Furthermore, the panel also works at low temperatures, diffusing the amount of energy through radiation.
Polyethylene is one of the most common plastic materials. It is a thermoplastic resin with excellent insulating properties. It is versatile and appears as a solid transparent in its amorphous form or white in its crystalline form. It is economical and has good chemical stability.
