DESCRIPTION
ELOFIT is a system of high-density polyethylene electrofusion fittings and special parts for the transport of water under pressure and, in general, for the transport of fluids under pressure.
Elofit high-density polyethylene fittings primarily use electrofusion technology and assembly method.
This welding process requires electrical resistors, connected externally by two cable lugs, to be housed inside the electro-weldable fittings.
When connected to both ends of the resistance of a welding machine capable of supplying power to the fitting, a certain voltage is created within a defined time.
The resistance converts the received current into heat so that the polyethylene of the pipe and that of the fitting fuse into a monolithic system.
After cooling, a homogeneous, robust, safe, and reliable connection is achieved over time.
