Self-sealing fittings for copper and aluminum without flaring, they are compatible with traditional 45° flared fittings and work with pipes of any thickness. Tests carried out in accordance with the European safety and environment standard EN 378 demonstrate that they can also be used as a reliable alternative to brazing, for example for interventions in explosive environments.
The metal seal and operating pressure up to 140 bar make this product particularly suitable for refrigeration and air conditioning systems operating with new refrigerants with low environmental impact to connect pipes, valves, tanks and line components in general.
The biting ring acts as a vice on the external surface of the pipe in order to resist pressure and create an effective seal.
