Description: ELOFIT is a system of electrofusion fittings made of high-density polyethylene and special parts for the transport of pressurized water and general for the transport of pressurized fluids.
Elofit fittings made of high-density polyethylene primarily use electrofusion technology and assembly method.
This welding process requires electrical resistors connected externally by two cable terminals to be housed inside the electrofusion fittings.
By connecting a welding machine capable of supplying power to the fitting at both ends of the resistor, a specific voltage is created within a defined time.
The resistor converts the received current into heat so that the polyethylene of the pipe and that of the fitting fuse into a monolithic system.
After cooling, a homogeneous, robust, safe and reliable connection is obtained over time.
