DESCRIPTION

ELOFIT is a system of high-density polyethylene electrofusion fittings and special parts for the transport of pressurized water and generally for the transport of pressurized fluids.

Elofit high-density polyethylene fittings mainly use electrofusion assembly technology and method.

This welding process requires electrical resistances connected externally by two cable lugs to be housed inside the electro-weldable fittings.

By connecting the two ends of the resistance to a welding machine capable of supplying energy to the fitting, a certain voltage is created within a defined time.

The resistance converts the received current into heat so that the polyethylene of the pipe and that of the fitting fuse into a monolithic system.

After cooling, a homogeneous, robust, safe, and reliable connection is obtained over time.

The main areas of application for the ELOFIT system are:

• Transport of drinking water and liquids for food use

• Transport of combustible gas

• Purification plants

• Centralized irrigation systems

• Pipes for the transport of chemical plants

• Pressurized sewer systems for industrial use

• Fire protection nets
