Data Hold Button
To freeze the LCD meter reading, press the data hold button. The data hold button is located on the left side of the instrument (top button). While data hold is active, the HOLD display icon appears on the LCD. Press data again to return to normal operation.
Note: The HOLD function will be deactivated when the backlight comes on. Press HOLD again to exit Hold.
Backlight Button
The backlight function illuminates the screen and is used when the ambient light is too low. Press the button a second time to turn off the backlight and press the button.
Manual Range
The instrument powers on in auto-selection manual mode. Press the RANGE button to access the manuals. Each time you press the range button, you advance to the next range as indicated by the units and the decimal point position. Press and hold the RANGE button for two seconds to return to automatic driving. Manual selection does not work in current, watt, diode, and continuity control functions.
