SELF-EXPANDING POLYURETHANE FOAM

It provides good sound and thermal insulation and has good adhesion to most building materials such as wood, concrete, cellular concrete, brick, metal, and aluminum. It does not adhere to polyethylene, silicone, and PTFE.

Advantages of gun polyurethane foam over adapter foam:

• Reduced consumption thanks to precise dosing;

• Easier to handle and apply;

• Zero spills or drips from the gun nozzle;

• Less cleaning required;

• Quick cylinder change.

DESCRIPTION:

• Volume: 42-47 l (free foamed) (750 ml)

• Foam density: 16-18 kg/m³

• Application temperature: min. +5 °C (surface), 20-25 °C (tank)

• Setting time: 5-10 min.

• Cutting time: 20-25 min.

• Drying time: 1.5-5 hours, depending on temperature and humidity

• Temperature resistance: -40 °C to +90 °C

• Dimensional stability: max. ± 5%

• Water absorption: max. 1 vol. %

• Compressive strength: 0.04-0.05 MPa

• Tensile strength: 0.12-0.14 MPa

APPLICATIONS:

It is used in construction for sealing, filling, insulating, assembly and installation (of door and window frames). It allows for quick filling and sealing against cold, drafts, and noise. Also suitable for thermal insulation of plumbing and heating systems, for fixing electrical and ventilation systems, etc.
