Self-sealing fittings for copper and aluminum without flaring; they are compatible with traditional 45° flared fittings and work with pipes of any thickness. Tests carried out in accordance with European safety and environmental standard EN 378 demonstrate that they can also be used as a reliable alternative to brazing, for example for interventions in explosive environments.
The metal seal and operating pressure up to 140 bar make this product particularly suitable for refrigeration and air conditioning systems operating with new low environmental impact refrigerants to connect pipes, valves, tanks, and line components in general.
The biting ring acts like a vise on the external surface of the pipe to resist pressure and create an effective seal.
