Warning:
In accordance with the new European regulation n° 517/2014 concerning F-Gas, from January 1, 2015 the purchase/sale of Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases* (HFC refrigerant gases) will be subject to possessing the requirements prescribed in the regulation (personal license/company certification).
Specifically, all those who are end users and purchase F gas for the purpose of their own installation, assistance and maintenance (e.g. refrigeration technicians, heating engineers, garages, etc.) can only do so if they are in possession of the "license", which they must present at the time of purchase (art. 11 point 4).
The seller has the obligation to register, in a specific register, the name, license number and quantity of gas purchased by the customer.
Those who do not carry out professional installation, assistance and maintenance activities (e.g. resellers, transporters, etc.), will not have the obligation to purchase with a license but, at the time of purchase, they will have to fill out a communication in which they declare, under their own responsibility, the use they will make of the purchased gas.
