Warning:

In accordance with the new European Regulation no. 517/2014 on fluorinated gases, as of January 1, 2015, the purchase and sale of fluorinated greenhouse gases* (HFC refrigerant gases) will be subject to the possession of the documents required by the regulation (personal license/company certification).

Specifically, all end-users who purchase fluorinated gases for the needs of installation, assistance and maintenance companies (e.g. refrigeration technicians, heating engineers, garages, etc.) can only do so if they hold the "license", which they must present at the time of purchase (art. 11, point 4).

 The seller is obliged to record, in a special register, the name, registration number and quantity of gas of the vehicle purchased by the customer.

 Persons not engaged in commercial installation, assistance and maintenance activities (e.g. retailers, carriers, etc.) will not be required to purchase subject to license, but will be required, at the time of purchase, to fill out a form in which they declare, under their own responsibility, the use they will make of the purchased gas.
