FEATURES:

The solid core is chemically inert. The FGR48 solid core is made of 100% molecular sieve type 3A in solid form obtained by pressing granules with a special glue and baking at 180°C to eliminate all traces of moisture. The use of 100% molecular sieve makes the solid core compatible with all freon and hydrocarbon refrigerants and allows maximum moisture absorption, even at high temperatures, which would not be possible with the addition of silica gel and activated alumina. The FGR 48 solid core absorbs some acidic solutions caused by lubricating oil. To facilitate interchangeability among major manufacturers in today's market, overall dimensions have been maintained. The FGR48 solid core is supplied in a unique, hermetically sealed package for long-term storage.
