USE: The entire series was designed to be used with fluids classified by Article 13, paragraph 1, letter b, of PED Directive 2014/68/EU as belonging to group 2, i.e. non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-explosive fluids; refrigerating fluids belonging to group A1 also fall into this macro-group. The entire production range includes normally closed valves, meaning that when the coil is energized, the valve opens.

CONSTRUCTION: The body and flange are made of hot forged brass EN 12420 - CW617N, and the seal between these two components is guaranteed by a special HNBR compound gasket.The shuttle of the valve is made of austenitic stainless steel AISI 305 - 1.4303 and houses the fixed and movable cores made of ferritic stainless steel AISI 430F - 1.4105; the reaction springs inside the group are made of austenitic stainless steel AISI 301. The sealing rings are made of EPDM, located below and above the coil, they ensure perfect insulation against oxidizing agents. The soldered connections in the ODS models are made with EN 12735-1 - Cu-DHP copper tube.
