USE: The entire series has been designed for use with fluids classified by article 13, paragraph 1, letter b, of the PED 2014/68/EU Directive as belonging to group 2, i.e., non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-explosive fluids; A1 group refrigerant fluids also belong to this macro-group. The entire production range includes normally closed valves, meaning that when the coil is energized, the valve opens.
CONSTRUCTION: The body and flange are made of hot-forged brass EN 12420 - CW617N, and the seal between these two components is guaranteed by a special HNBR compound gasket.The can of the valve is made of austenitic stainless steel AISI 305 - 1.4303 and houses the fixed and movable cores made of ferritic stainless steel AISI 430F - 1.4105; the reaction springs inside the group are made of austenitic stainless steel AISI 301. The sealing rings are made of EPDM, located below and above the coil, they ensure perfect insulation against oxidizing agents. Welded connections in ODS models are made with EN 12735-1 - Cu-DHP copper tube.
