Cillit-55 is used to protect against limescale and corrosion, and to gradually restore the hydraulic systems and circuits listed below:
- <span style='font-size: 12pt;'>hot water producers (wall-mounted boilers, bi-thermal boilers - domestic hot water side, boilers)
- sanitary and plumbing systems for hot and cold water up to disposal cooling circuits with disposable water
- air washing circuits for molding machines with disposable water
- Aqueduct pipes, to prevent carbonate precipitation in the distribution network, in the case of very hard water or water with particular characteristics
- open circuits for industrial process water distribution
Cillit-55 is also used to protect a wide range of domestic hot and cold water hydraulic circuits against limescale and corrosion. Already installed hydraulic systems and circuits that are scaled or contain corrosion residues are gradually restored. However, the rehabilitation depends on the condition of the system, the quality and form of the scale present, as well as on the type of corrosion, its severity, and advancement.
Cillit-55 is a dosed and studied association of ortho and sodium polyphosphates of a prescribed purity for use in the food sector.
Cillit-55 is a product with a high capacity for hardening salt stabilization and is used to protect hot and cold water production and distribution systems from scale. Cillit-55 is also used to protect systems from the onset of corrosion phenomena and to restore old systems that are already damaged, scaled, or corroded. However, the duration of the rehabilitation depends on the condition of the system, the amount of scale present, as well as the possible presence of ongoing corrosion and its evolution.
Rehabilitation operations of the sanitary water network require careful monitoring of the systems (periodic water analyses are recommended, installation of inspection pipes, etc.).
