The SKIL 3590 “20V Max” cordless wood cutter is extremely compact and lightweight. Don’t let its size fool you: like all “20V Max” cordless tools, this model is powered by cutting-edge PWRCORE 20™ battery and charger technology. This powerful battery system, combined with the ingenious overslide function, allows the tool to easily tackle even the most demanding cutting applications. On most miter saws, the saw head is attached to bars that extend the rear of the workpiece during cutting. The SKIL 3590, however, is equipped with fixed bars and a sliding saw head, allowing it to be positioned close to a wall. Workpiece clamping is a breeze thanks to the unique quick-clamping system, much faster than traditional systems. In addition, its precise laser clearly indicates the cutting line. Easy to adjust, this laser offers a significant advantage, ensuring optimal precision and the ability to position the laser line to the left or right of the blade. Cutting angles are continuously adjustable for precise miter and cross cuts; preset stops make it easy to set to the most common angles. The table extensions for longer workpieces are fully tiltable, and an additional handle is provided for easy transport. The SKIL 3590 also comes with a large dust bag and a vacuum cleaner connection integrated into the aluminum housing. The SKIL 3590 CA is supplied with a 216 mm carbide-tipped blade with 40 teeth, table extensions, a quick-clamping system for the workpiece, and a dust bag. The battery and charger are not included.
