FEATURES:
R427A gas (sold under the name Forane) is an HFC blend suitable for use as a drop-in replacement gas in various R22 applications in low, medium, and high-temperature refrigeration and air conditioning units. During operation, cooling capacity decreases by approximately 5% but efficiency improves by 5-10%. As R427A is a mixed refrigerant, its temperature glide is high. R427A gas has the lowest GWP of all refrigerants used (2,138 GWP) as a replacement for R427A gas. It is used for a wide range of applications in industry, commerce, residential buildings, and homes. The upgrade is quick and does not require costly equipment replacement. In terms of cooling capacity, performance, mass flow rate, operating pressure, and energy consumption, it matches R22. It also offers lower exhaust temperatures, which extends equipment life.

In compliance with the new European regulation no. 517/2014 regarding F-Gases, from January 1, 2015, the purchase/sale of fluorinated greenhouse gases* (HFC refrigerant gases) will be subject to meeting the requirements prescribed in the regulation (personal license/company certification).
Specifically, all end-users who purchase F-gas for installation, assistance, and maintenance purposes (e.g., refrigeration system technicians, heating engineers, garages, etc.) will only be able to do so if they hold the "license", which they must present at the time of purchase (Art. 11 point 4).
The seller is obliged to record, in a specific register, the name, license number, and quantity of gas purchased by the customer.
Those who do not carry out installation, assistance, and maintenance activities (e.g., resellers, transporters, etc.) will not have the obligation of purchase subject to the license, but at the time of purchase, they must complete a declaration in which they state, under their own responsibility, the use they will make of the purchased gas.
