FEATURES:
R427A gas (sold under the name Forane) is an HFC blend suitable for use as a replacement gas in various R22 applications in low, medium and high temperature refrigeration and air conditioning units. During operation, cooling power decreases by about 5% but efficiency improves by 5 to 10%. Since R427A is a mixed refrigerant, its temperature glide is high. R427A gas has the lowest GWP (2,138 GWP) of all refrigerants used as a replacement for R22 gas. It is used for a wide range of applications in industrial, commercial, residential and residential buildings. Retrofitting is quick and does not require expensive equipment replacement. In terms of cooling capacity, performance, mass flow rate, operating pressure and energy consumption, it matches R22. In addition, it displays lower discharge temperatures, which extends equipment life.

In accordance with the new European regulation n° 517/2014 concerning F-Gas, from January 1, 2015 the purchase/sale of Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases* (HFC refrigerant gases) will be subject to meeting the requirements prescribed in the regulation (personal license/company certification).
Specifically, all those who are end users and purchase F-gas for the purpose of personal installation, assistance and maintenance (e.g. refrigeration engineers, heating engineers, garages, etc.) will only be able to do so if they hold the "license", which they will have to present at the time of purchase (art. 11 point 4).
The seller is obliged to record, in a specific register, the name, license number and quantity of gas purchased by the customer.
Those who do not carry out professional installation, assistance and maintenance activities (e.g. resellers, transporters, etc.), will not have the obligation to purchase under license but, at the time of purchase, they will have to fill out a communication in which they declare, under their own responsibility, the use they will make of the purchased gas.
