Description:
Our toilet seats are made using an antibacterial compound, essentially consisting of a urea-formaldehyde condensate, an organic cellulose-based filler, and a percentage of silver ions. The compound thus obtained significantly reduces, or even inhibits, the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi, while maintaining its fundamental characteristics such as robustness, non-flammability, absence of taste and odor, resistance to acidic, oily, and fatty substances, as well as to most common organic solvents.
Thanks to the use of an antimicrobial additive, all our products are certified for the prevention of attacks by the most common microorganisms such as: Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus vulgaris, Salmonella typhi, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, Streptococcus pyogenes, Candida albicans; they are therefore particularly suitable for use in hospitals, communities, hotels, restaurants, airports, etc.
The antimicrobial action is based on the natural properties of silver ions, which inhibit the growth of a wide range of microorganisms.
The excellent properties of silver also remain unchanged, as do the typical physical and chemical properties of urea such as: electrical insulation, fire resistance, color stability, hypoallergenic.
