Glossy white cast polyester resin toilet seat for the Zero Light toilet model by Catalano

The creation of the cast product takes place as follows: a pressed chipboard insert with a thickness of 12 mm. It is coated with liquid polyester resin to a thickness of approximately 3 mm. Once the hardening process is complete, the product acquires a stable consistency, ensuring good resistance to chemical agents, as well as a high hardness capacity to absorb impacts and excessive weight. The seat is then left in a closed chamber at a constant temperature under UV lamps for 48 hours to release all chemical agents present in the resin that cause yellowing during the maturation phase. This process ensures that color compliance can be guaranteed for more than two years from installation. Subsequently, the product undergoes further fundamental processes of sanding, polishing, and cleaning. The seat is then checked by thorough quality control, positioned at 3 different points along the path. To finalize the product, polyethylene bumpers, hinges, and special fixings are then applied, all within a transparent heat-shrink film and packaged inside the box.
