ICMA 50 Y-strainer - 1" brass with impurity recovery screen

The ICMA 50 Y-strainer is a hydraulic component designed to protect water distribution networks from solid debris present in the fluid (such as sand, welding residues, or metallic impurities), thus preventing blockages in valves, meters, pressure reducers, pumps, and other downstream devices. It is an oblique ("Y-") strainer with a brass body, equipped with a removable internal metal screen that collects impurities.
The standard filtration degree is between 400 µm and 500 µm. Suitable for general protection of civil and technical hydraulic circuits (available on request with a finer mesh of 200 µm). The mesh is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, resistant to corrosion and easy to clean or replace during periodic maintenance. The Y-design promotes regular water flow while minimizing pressure losses, while the inspection plug allows quick access to the filter mesh for cleaning. The standard ISO 228/1 thread ensures compatibility with most threaded pipes and fittings in water and heating systems.
