USE: The whole series is has been designed for use with fluids classified by art. 13, paragraph 1, letter b, of the PED 2014/68/EU Directive as belonging to group 2, i.e. non-toxic, non-flammable and non-explosive fluids; Refrigerant fluids belonging to group A1 also fall into this macro-group. The entire production range includes normally closed valves, i.e. when the coil is energized, the valve opens.

CONSTRUCTION: The body and flange are in hot forged brass EN 12420 - CW617N and the seal between these two components is guaranteed by a special HNBR compound gasket.The canot of the valve is in austenitic stainless steel AISI 305 - 1.4303 and houses the fixed and mobile core in ferritic stainless steel AISI 430F - 1.4105; the reaction springs inside the group are in austenitic stainless steel AISI 301. The sealing rings are made of EPDM, located below and above the coil, they ensure perfect insulation against oxidizing agents. The welded connections in the ODS models are made with EN 12735-1 - Cu-DHP copper pipe.
