Practical, safe, and innovative straight fitting that allows the connection of both ends of copper or aluminum tubing without the classic flaring. Each kit is composed of a special fitting and union fittings and is universal for both 0.80 and 1.00 mm thick tubing. Self-flaring fittings allow the assembly of copper and aluminum pipes without flaring, they are compatible with traditional 45° flared fittings and work with pipes of any thickness. Tests carried out in accordance with European safety and environmental standard EN 378 demonstrate that they can also be used as a reliable alternative to brazing, for example for interventions in explosive environments.
The metal seal and operating pressure up to 140 bar make this product particularly suitable for refrigeration and air conditioning systems operating with new refrigerants with low environmental impact for connecting pipes, valves, tanks, and pipeline components in general.
The biting ring acts as a vice on the external surface of the pipe to withstand pressure and create an effective seal.
