Entièrement étanche, il est extrêmement flexible et fonctionnel grâce aux caractéristiques spécifiques des matériaux qui le composent et à sa technologie de fabrication particulière. Le thermostat intégré assure un fonctionnement entièrement automatique, s'activant uniquement lorsque la température descend en dessous de +5 °C. La partie ronde et plate du thermostat (côté capteur) doit être placée en contact et dans la meilleure position possible afin de recueillir les informations correctes et de commander l'élément chauffant pour empêcher la formation de glace ou l'accumulation de givre et\/ou de neige.
