When dosing through the TF1 filter, before applying Protector+ Filter Fluid F9, it is necessary to remove any accumulated contaminants in the filter. This can be cleaned on site in less than 2 minutes. Simply isolate the filter, remove the magnet from the sheath, open the drain valve and remove contaminants before replacing the magnet and closing the drain valve. Fernox Protector+ Filter Fluid F9 Express should be left in the system. It is not suitable for use with small diameter (microbore) pipes. For single indirect fuel tanks, e.g. \"Primatic\" or similar models, it is necessary to use chemicals for potable water.
