Afin d'éviter les turbulences et le bruit excessifs, il est recommandé de ne pas dépasser une vitesse de gaz réfrigérant trop élevée à travers le séparateur ; la vitesse recommandée est de 0,4 à 0,6 m\/s. Pour vérifier le bon fonctionnement du séparateur, nous recommandons de placer un indicateur de débit de liquide modèle SPL sur la conduite de retour d'huile du compresseur.
